Vivalon’s Brown Bag Pantry offers free, healthy, fresh produce, meats and staple food items provided from the SF-Marin Food Bank for Marin residents age 60 and older.
The Brown Bag Pantry has Moved!
The BBP is now operating at the Vivalon Healthy Aging Campus:
999 3rd Street San Rafael, CA 94901
Marin residents age 60 and older who consider themselves in need of food are eligible. When you sign up at our pantry, we ask for your name, address and the number of people in your household.
As of December 1, 2025, our pantry has reached capacity. New participants will be placed on a waitlist. To be added to the waitlist, please call 415-456-9062 ext. 119. We will continue to monitor availability and will contact individuals on the waitlist as soon as space becomes available.
The Pantry is located at the Vivalon Healthy Aging Campus 999 3rd Street San Rafael, CA 94901.
Participants will receive a pre-packed bag containing a variety of fresh produce, protein items, and pantry staples.
Parking is not available at 999 3rd Street, but multiple city parking lots are located within walking distance. A walk-up line will be available at the Healthy Aging Campus.
Vivalon’s Brown Bag Pantry is every Friday from 10:45am – 11:30am at our Healthy Aging Campus (999 Third Street in San Rafael).
For your comfort and safety, we invite you to arrive after 10:00 a.m. Arriving later will help minimize standing time and exposure to winter weather.
The pantry is free, if you meet minimum income requirements.
