Enhancing Your Vivalon Café Experience: Your Feedback in Action!

Dear Vivalon Café Customers,

We are very grateful for the opportunity to feed older adults in Marin County and really appreciate all of the feedback we received from the cafe survey. We analyzed the results carefully and found areas to make the Vivalon Cafe experience even better.

You told us you wanted to know more about the food we serve so we can meet your dietary needs, and plan to add allergen symbols on our menu board. We heard you wanted more salads, so we added greens every day to offer as a substitute for sides on request.

Your affection for our beloved cafe volunteers came through loud and clear. They are amazing and we shared your positive feedback with them.

We understand that the dining room temperature has been an issue, and we will continue to work with our facilities team to resolve it.

Since fish is so popular, We will continue to serve fish at least once a week.

The food served at Vivalon Cafe is prepared fresh each morning by the chefs at Community Action Marin, as our space does not have the capacity to cook food directly on-site. This collaboration between Vivalon and Community Action Marin, along with the new cafe space, is designed to serve more people each day with fresh, nutritious, and affordable meals than ever before. Additionally, the new space offers an excellent venue for cooking classes and special events.

To promote greater connection, we will create a communal lunch table for people looking to gather and enjoy their meals with excellent company.

We will continue to work on ways to incorporate your feedback into our daily work and we hope to continue hearing from you using our cafe comment cards. The Vivalon Cafe staff and Volunteers look forward to serving you soon.
