Yvonne Roberts, Senior Donor Relations Officer

Yvonne joined Vivalon in 2009 to rebuild our Development & Marketing department. Under her leadership, the organization has seen significant growth in support, as well an increase in the number of supporters. As Chief Donor Relations Officer, she is responsible for building and strengthening relationships with donors. She works with our donors to understand their philanthropic interests and invites them to participate in the programs that speak to their hearts. Yvonne volunteers in Fairfax for her neighborhood Firewise group and the local independent theater group. Prior to Vivalon, Yvonne worked with the Town of Fairfax, Antenna Audio/Discovery Communications, and TVA in environmental education. Yvonne loves learning, DIY projects, and is an artist and avid photographer. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Science in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management from North Carolina State University, and has enjoyed many classes at Dominican University, the College of Marin, and the Environmental Forum of Marin.

Heather Mathews, Fundraising Events Director

Heather joined Vivalon as the Director of Fundraising Events in October 2025, contributing more than 20 years of marketing, branding, and fundraising experience to the development team. She plays a crucial role in strengthening organizational impact by expanding fundraising capacity and enhancing donor stewardship through high-profile events, including Vivalon’s annual Soiree d’Elegance gala. Heather brings expertise in strategic communications and donor engagement, and an ability to elevate mission-driven organizations through exceptional events, cohesive storytelling, and meaningful donor relationships.

 

Before joining Vivalon, Heather served as the Director of Marketing and Events at Huckleberry Youth Programs, leading integrated marketing campaigns, brand strategy, and major fundraising events. She is also skilled at building cross-sector partnerships and has contributed to community arts access through her work on the San Francisco Symphony’s All San Francisco Concert Committee since 2021.

Laura Barber, Individual Giving Manager

Laura joined Vivalon in the Fall of 2025 as Individual Giving Manager. In her role, she is responsible for designing and leading the stewardship of our individual donors with the goal of enhancing donor engagement and loyalty, while also increasing the visibility of Vivalon within the community.

She brings extensive experience in development, fundraising, marketing, and event production. Before Vivalon, Laura served as Advancement Director for Sebastopol Center for the Arts, raising funds through individual giving, grants, and corporate sponsorships. She previously held roles at the California Film Institute in marketing/publicity, corporate development, and community partnerships; worked in advertising at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners; served as Executive Director of the Tahoe International Film Festival; and co-owned a sports marketing and event production company producing nationally televised events for Red Bull, Clif Bar, and GoPro.

Laura holds a BA in Art History with a minor in Business Marketing from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is the proud mother of two grown daughters.

Bryttni Jones, Marketing and Communications Manager

Bryttni joined Vivalon in 2018 and has advanced to her current position as Marketing and Communications Manager, playing a crucial role in furthering Vivalon’s mission and brand through effective organizational, marketing, and communications initiatives. Responsible for developing and implementing thematic content across various channels—such as the website, social platforms, direct mail, email, and media placements—Bryttni helps raise awareness, drive program and volunteer engagement, and secure funding support for Vivalon. She also acts as the main point of contact for marketing collaborations with other departments and external marketing resources.

Paige Pedri, Individual Gifts and Grants Manager

Paige joined Vivalon in Spring 2023 as Development Manager. She brings extensive background in fundraising, grant writing, and marketing. In her role, Paige manages Vivalon’s institutional grant program and the organization’s individual giving appeals and annual gifts program. Paige is also responsible for the acquisition and nurturing of new donors to help more supporters become champions of Vivalon’s mission to help our elder community thrive through the power of human connection. Corinne Church, Development & Marketing Coordinator

Corinne supports Vivalon’s mission by coordinating fundraising and marketing initiatives that connect the community with vital services for older adults. In her role, she manages donor communications, social media, and event logistics, while also assisting with grant coordination and stewardship activities. Corinne brings experience in nonprofit communications and development, along with strong organizational skills and a passion for storytelling to help amplify Vivalon’s impact. She is excited to contribute to programs that promote healthy aging and foster meaningful connections in Marin.
