Ways to Give Back on Giving Tuesday
At Vivalon, we are excited to participate in Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving, which this year falls on November 28. Originating in 2012 at the Belfer Center for Innovation & Social Impact, Giving Tuesday was created as an antidote to the consumerism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. It’s a day dedicated to fostering generosity and philanthropy. Held annually on the first Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Giving Tuesday inspires people worldwide to contribute to meaningful causes and emphasizes the power of collective action.
We are passionate about empowering individuals to make a positive difference in their communities on this special day. Here are ways you can contribute:
- Contribute Financially to Nonprofits: Your donations can have a profound impact. Consider supporting a local charity or an organization that aligns with your values, contributing to causes you deeply care about.
- Offer Your Time and Talents: Volunteering isn’t just about giving time; it’s about sharing your unique skills and experiences. Whether it’s assisting at a community center, participating in local events, or providing specialized skills, your involvement is invaluable.
