Yes, we can provide vegetarian meals and all are “meals for a healthy heart.”
Each meal features an entrée, vegetables, bread or a grain, fruit and milk. The menus are reviewed by a registered dietician to ensure they meet recommended daily nutrition allowances.
Yes, we publish menus every month for both the regular and vegetarian entrees. At the end of each month, volunteers deliver printed menus for the following month.
Part of the mission of the Meals on Wheels Program is to provide wellbeing and human contact for individuals who are homebound. Someone has to be present to accept your meals at the door. We are unable to leave the meals outside or in a cooler. If there is a scheduling conflict, please call: (415) 456-9062 x176, if other arrangements need to be made.
Due to Covid-19 protocols currently in place, our drivers are unable to bring your meals inside. They will knock and stand back to wait while you open the door.
