Our Offerings

Livingstreaming Travel Tours

Explore the world without leaving Marin! Vivalon has partnered with Wowzitude to offer virtual, interactive travel experiences designed for the culturally curious. No passport, no plane ticket, no luggage required—just your sense of adventure!

Join us at Vivalon’s Healthy Aging Campus for these exclusive tours, where expert guides lead live, walking explorations of iconic sites, events, and hidden gems from cities around the globe. Offered exclusively in Marin County, this one-of-a-kind experience lets you connect, learn, and “travel” the world—all from the comfort of your local community.

The city of Ohrid has quite a long history to
offer. Located next to one of the oldest and deepest
lakes in Europe, known as “The pearl of the Balkan”. Throughout the centuries, Ohrid has witnessed the taste of
Ancient Greece, the Roman Empire, the Byzantine culture, the Ottoman Empire, but most of all, the influence of the Slavic migration, which is still present today.

Tours are offered as a monthly package. Each package includes the following:

  • Live tours are hosted at Vivalon every Tuesday.
  • Recording of Tuesday tours as well as additional tours on Thursdays that can be viewed at home at your convenience. 
  • Trip Kits for every tour that features information on each destination.

Monthly Package Cost: $10 for members, and $15 for non-members

Four-Week Storytelling Series

Corey Rosen joined us once again for another round of his hit storytelling series! Hone your storytelling skills by crafting diverse tales and employing strategic editing elements. At the end of this four-week series, showcase your refined narratives with family, friends, and peers at an engaging storytelling event.

Estate Planning Workshops

Workshops are held in person at the Vivalon Healthy Aging Campus, 999 Third Street, San Rafael. When possible, workshops will be recorded and links will be sent to registrants.

January 15 | 4 pm to 6 pm

Reverse Mortgages & Taxes: Getting the Most From Both in 2025

Mary Anne Daly a mortgage specialist will discuss myths, pros and cons of Reverse Mortgages, and how to know if one is right for you.  Ron Moss, CPA, will discuss the tax implications and will review the tax changes for 2025 and IRA to Roth Conversions.
