About the Artist
Andy Goldsworthy is known for creating site-specific works using natural materials such as leaves, stone, and water. Many of his pieces are intentionally temporary, shaped by the elements and designed to change over time.
His approach is rooted in observation and rhythm, often drawing on his early experience as a farm laborer. As he once reflected, “A lot of my work is like picking potatoes; you have to get into the rhythm of it.”
