Rates
Minimum fare: $21.26 up to 5 miles (each additional mile: $4.26)
Regional trips: Customer pays bridge tolls and parking (if required)
Payment: Credit/debit card required to reserve; exact fare quoted at booking
Marin Access Mobility Wallet: Eligible riders receive $200/month through Marin Transit to use for Vivalon Rides or other transit needs. Learn more here.

- Book 48 hours in advance (same-day/next-day may be possible but not guaranteed)
- Cancel by 5:00 pm the day before: no charge
- Same-day cancellations, cancel-at-door, or “no-call/no-show”: 50% fee

CarePool connects Marin County residents aged 65+ with caring volunteer drivers for essential trips—at absolutely no cost.

Vivalon is a certified Medi-Cal NEMT and NMT provider in Marin County, offering wheelchair-accessible van transportation to help you reach the care you need.

For Partnership Health of California (PHC) patients, please call (866) 828-2303 to sign up and obtain NEMT or NMT authorization.
Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT)
For Medi-Cal beneficiaries who need additional assistance leaving home, entering/exiting vehicles, or accessing medical offices. Covers preventive care, dialysis, prenatal, dental, vision, mental health, substance-use treatment, and more. Provider authorization required.

For Medi-Cal beneficiaries without other means to reach covered services such as dental, mental health, or substance-use treatment. Transportation may be via private providers, transit, or other approved means.

Do I Qualify for Non-Emergency Medical Transportation?
If you have a physical or medical condition that makes it difficult or impossible to get to your medical appointments by car, bus, train, taxi, or rideshare (like Lyft or Uber), you may qualify.
Coverage note: Eligibility varies by plan. Partnership HealthPlan members may qualify for NEMT/NMT with Vivalon. If you have a different Medi-Cal plan, please call and we’ll help you determine options.
