Community Song Circle
Every Second and Fourth Tuesday | 2:30-3:30pm
Come experience the joy and medicine of singing with others! All voices are welcome and no prior singing experience is necessary. The focus of this circle is bringing our hearts together and lifting our spirits, not performance. We will start with fun vocal warm-ups before learning short, catchy, inspiring songs through call and echo. Led by Programs Coordinator Megan Farmer. Masks optional. Registration required.
Please email Megan Farmer [email protected] or call (415)456-9062 x128 to register.
“For thousands of years, humans have sung together; sung for joy, for creating and preserving culture, to mark important stories, to enliven social movements, to grieve, to praise, to share. Something inexplicable happens when people open and blend their voices into a single lake of sound. To me, it’s one of the most basic and radical means for making, seeing, and feeling the truth of our connection with others.”
