Chef Juan Torres, Executive Chef of Lolinda Steakhouse and El Techo de Lolinda in San Francisco, returns for Vivalon’s Thanksgiving Special Luncheon!
“Cooking for me is personal—it’s something special,” says Chef Torres.
“I come from a long line of great women cooks. My sisters, my aunt who helped raise me, my mother, and my grandmother all inspired me. I guess it’s in our DNA.”
That sense of heritage and love inspired the name of his catering company, Miranda Catering—a tribute to his mother’s last name and the strong women who shaped his life.
Since age 19, Chef Torres has honed his craft in some of San Francisco’s finest kitchens. Classically trained in French, Spanish, and Mediterranean cuisine, he brings more than 18 years of professional experience—and a heart full of gratitude—to every meal he prepares.
This Thanksgiving, we’re honored to welcome Chef Torres and his team back to the Vivalon table to share their warmth, tradition, and culinary excellence.
