Marin County Assisted Transportation Program
Vivalon Rides is pleased to collaborate with Marin County and West Marin Senior Services to provide free rides for residents traveling to or within San Rafael for medical appointments.
CarePool Volunteer Driver Program
Vivalon’s CarePool program serves the transportation needs of Marin residents over the age of 65. Our caring volunteers will drive you safely to your medical appointments, vaccine appointments and to the grocery store only. Rides are absolutely free to you. You must be ambulatory to participate.
Carepool Offers
CarePool is a volunteer driver service offered through Vivalon to Marin County residents over the age of 65, who no longer drive permanently. Volunteers select and provide the rides for medical appointments or the grocery store at no cost. Rides are not guaranteed.

Who is eligible for getting a ride
You must be a Marin County resident who is 65 and over and can no longer drive.
You must be ambulatory (able to get in and out of a vehicle).
Want to drive for CarePool?
We are currently seeking volunteers to provide rides to older adults who need to get to vital medical appointments, pharmacies, and to grocery stores.
