Vivalon’s Jackson Café is open to the public and offers a wonderful place to relax and enjoy lunch with friends. The meals are fresh, affordable, and delicious – made in our kitchen by amazing chefs and served by Vivalon volunteers. The menu, which changes daily, includes a hot main entrée, vegetarian entrée, soup du jour, and a variety of other favorite lunch dishes.

Jackson Café is located at 930 Tamalpais Ave. in San Rafael, right across from the bus depot. Our hours are Monday–Friday 11:30am – 2:00pm.

Yes you may! Take-out meals are made-to-order based on the menu of the day. Please note: we do not have online ordering. Orders must be placed in person or call us at 415-456-9062 x100. Please leave a message if we cannot take your call. Orders must be placed by 11:00am for same day pickup.
No. In order to offer seasonal specialties, we think it is best to remain flexible and take advantage of what is fresh.

Currently, we are extending our special member price of $8 per meal to Vivalon members, regardless of age or disability status. Vivalon non-member price is $12 per meal.
Special luncheons are back! We are currently doing luncheons for holidays and special events at a limited capacity. Check the Calendar and the Cafe webpage for upcoming special luncheons. Due to limited seating, reservations are required. Please reserve your spot with Guest Services by calling 415-456-9062.
You may phone in your To-go meal order from 9:00 to 12:00 noon. To-go meals will be available for pick-up beginning at 12:00 noon.
